For our latest Hire Space Professional event we invited our clients to Brigadiers. Inspired by the army mess bars of India, where military regiments go to eat, drink and socialise, the venue encourages camaraderie with its Indian barbecue inspired feasting menu, live sport and classic card games.
Designed by Brady Williams Studio, Brigadiers references Indian art deco design, conveying the opulence and familiarity reflective of quintessential Indian Club Culture.
We were welcomed into Brigadiers with with a mango Champagne cocktail before taking our clients for a show round of the venue, a collection of rooms, each with its own identity, experience and atmosphere designed for relaxed, informal and playful socialising. In total, Brigadiers accommodates 140 with a further 34 on an outdoor terrace.
The food offering focuses on different methods of Indian barbecue, utilising tandoors, charcoal grills, rotisseries, wood ovens and classic Indian smokers.
We were treated to a sharing feast in the The Pot Luck Room that included delicious dishes such as Afghani Lamb Cannon Kebab Skewer Lotus Root & Puff Chaat Amritsari, Fried Fish Pao, Tawa Prawn Biryani and Sikandari Kid Goat Shoulder.
The Pot Luck Room is a relaxed space which connects to the Dining Room or can be closed to create a private dining room. The elevated conservatory reflects the Indian art-deco style of the rest of the venue, with stone tiled flooring, slow-turning ceiling fans, greenery and mirrors layered with trellis. The Pot Luck Room also comes with its own private terrace for those balmy summer evenings.
