Corporate events, team building, drinks receptions, sometimes the occasion calls for a little added fun.
Whether you're trying to get to know your colleagues, entertain clients or just have a laugh with some pals, these venues are perfect for a spot of competition and getting to know each other.
1. Bounce
Bounce is located on the verified site that ping pong was first invented by Jaques & Son in 1901, and they really know how to get the most from the game.
There are a number of spaces available for private or semi-private hire, including the Jacques Room - an extravaganza including three ping pong tables, a cocktail bar with dedicated mixologist and a state-of-the-art karaoke system. Everything you need for a good time, basically.
2. Puttshack
Coming to White City in June, Puttshack is creating a mini-golf concept driven by technology. Described as a 'world first' social entertainment concept, the courses use ground-breaking patented technology that enables automatic point scoring (no cheating!), leaderboards and intuitive gameplay.
The first site in Westfield London has a capacity of 750, with an exclusive course and seven other private hire areas.
3. Pizza Pilgrims
If anything is likely to bring your team together, pizza is probably a good bet. Pizza Pilgrims are really passionate about their pizzas too.
The founders developed their unique Neapolitan sourdough recipe after travelling to Italy, and you can learn how to make it. The talented team will take you through how the dough is made and let you make your own delicious pizza (it's harder than it looks...).

And if loads of pizza isn't enough, the 'Pizza Playground' is complete with Mario Kart, Fussball and pinball.
4. Flight Club
Flight Club has given social darts a makeover in the last couple of years. The semi-private oches can be hired individually or combined to create a space for 24 - 200 people. There's AV equipment that can be used for presentations, ideal for team away days, and once the work is done, the fun can begin.
Games can pair players up, which can also be shuffled each game creating a great opportunity for people to mingle. Everything is enhanced by tech, including scoring and ordering food and drink. You can have a dedicated Gamesmaster on hand to run tournaments, give you some hints and tips as well as some all-important encouragement.
5. Mercato Metropolitano
Mercato Metropolitano is a community food market in Elephant and Castle with an Italian soul. Combining artisan food producers with space for food lovers to meet, eat and shop.
Inside this foodie Mecca is The Kitchen, a professionally equipped space that also comes complete with a brilliant chef, Gabriele. Suitable for 10-20 people, a masterclass starts with a talk on healthy eating, followed by a cooking lesson, and ends with everyone enjoying their freshly prepared meal over handpicked wine. All you have to do is choose between pasta or pizza and enjoy!
6. Greenwood
New to Victoria, Greenwood is now also the largest pub in the area. Venture upstairs and you'll find a sports fan's dream of five screens (showing domestic and international sport all day), a pool table and shuffleboard. There's also stonebaked pizzas and burgers to fuel all this sporting activity...dreamy.
