Autumn is the best season, that's a fact. The crisp post-summer air, the sort of temperature that lets a jacket be a pure fashion choice rather than dictated by the weather. It's the colour of beaten copper in the trees and the crunch of leaves on the floor. Autumn is refreshing, it's invigorating; the season of new beginnings. It makes sense then, that discerning people would choose it as the best time to get married.

ZSL London Zoo

Unusual perhaps to get married in a zoo, but the Mappin Pavilion is a gorgeous autumnal venue for receptions. The floor to ceiling windows that surround the room let in the season's honeyed rays giving the warm a wonderful warm glow at sunset while offering wonderful views of Regent's Park and the Tiger enclosure. This wonderful space in the heart of London's animal kingdon can host up to 90 guests for dinner or 70 for a dinner and dance.
