Venue Review: London Stadium
How time flies. Seven years ago, the Olympic Stadium hosted the majority of the London 2012 Olympics events.
London Stadium, as it's known today, is home of West Ham United – but also an expansive events venue. Now transformed into a dedicated venue, the entire VIP West Stand is comprised of numerous spaces ideal for a number of different events: conferences, receptions and product launches, to name but a few.
Large parties will find a perfect space in The Boleyn, styled as a sports bar and holding up to 1,000 guests. The casual and colourful space boasts views of the pitch and access to the balcony.
Similarly decked out in lively hues is The Great Briton, an expansive and bright space that looks out over the city skyline. Conferences, workshops and seminars will find a home here, with the adjoining Academy space providing a break-out area thanks to its lounge space and balcony access.
For a supremely modern touch, The Arnold Hills accommodates private dining parties, whether in a sit-down or buffet style. The space is a classy backdrop for all kinds of dining-centred corporate events.
For more intimate groups, The BM6 caters to meetings and away days for up to 70 people, making business functions easy with its LCD screens and modern facilities, natural daylight and, of course, those pitch views. Plus, it's decorated in nostalgic homage to the '60s – and named after footballing legend, Sir Bobby Moore.
For a drinks reception with a difference, consider The Londoners, an East-End-themed lounge filled with footballing memorabilia and street food reminiscent of Sunday games, such as The Pie Maker. What's more, the views are heightened by the 16 executive boxes attached to the space, with vistas over the spectacular pitch.
It's easy to enjoy the prestige of a business event at London Stadium, thanks to the wide variety of rooms, contemporary facilities and welcoming décor.
